Micro biogas plants – The prospect of

development in lodzkie province

Page 2: Sweden presentation

Aim

to obtain the optimal scheme of agricultural biogas

plants based on technological, legal, and economic

location criteria in the context of waste management

of agro- and food industry, dairy plant waste and

other agricultural waste.

Lodzkie province

Area:18 219 km2

24 districts, 161 communities

Page 4: Sweden presentation

QuestionnaireThe study was conducted in the Lodz region in the group of 51 respondents

The main objective of the study focused on three aspects:

Determination of the potential of lodzkie province for generation of waste for biogas production in biogas plant;

Determination of the place where there is the largest concentration of plants, which can deliver organic waste for biogas plants;

Determining the potential of building of biogas plant for its own needs by plants generating the highest number of organic waste

The survey technique was used CATI (ComputerAssisted Telephone Interview).
