ECONOMICTALKINGPOINTS
Commercial real estate sales volume may be growing, or falling, depending on data source.• According to GlobeSt.com, 2016 may set
new records for commercial transactions, or fall short of the 2015 record depending on the final results of December and which data source is used.
• CoStar, through November, shows a slight 0.8% increase in year to date sales compared to 2015, while Real Capital Analytics reports an approximate 6% year over year decline (albeit off of very high 2015 numbers).

ECONOMICTALKINGPOINTS
• According to a survey by the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate (AFIRE), 95% of foreign investors see US real estate as a good investment and plan on keeping their level of investment in the US the same following the election and recent increase in interest rates. 34% did say they became more pessimistic, 60% said their sentiments remain unchanged, and 6% said they became more optimistic.
• They do cite concerns about Trump, potential trade wars, and rising rates of interest, but still see the US as a top international market for investment.
After election and interest rate increases, 95% of foreign investors still positive on US Real Estate.
