• Regularly maintain and upgrade both electrical and natural gas-powered manufacturing equipment to maximize energy-efficiency.

• Manufacturing facilities utilize energy-efficient lighting and skylights to take advantage of natural light.

• Our Cambro PK (Germany) factory uses advanced technology to harness heat energy from the factory and convert it into energy to warm the cold, fresh air brought in from the outside. This provides a dramatic reduction in energy consumption throughout the winter.

• Continuous commitment to reduce manufacturing material waste. Usable scrap material is reground and re-processed.• Excess foil, paper and cardboard scrap are handled as raw material and sent through a recycling chain instead of being treated as trash.• Our Cambro PK (Germany) facility offers a program to recycle customers’ used SMC trays instead of having them get placed in the waste stream.• Office facilities recycle paper whenever possible and communicate digitally whenever feasible. • Our warehouse recycles 38 tons of shrink wrap each year.
