Marine Plywood

Manufactured from selected species based on density, bending strength, impact resistance and surface finishing characteristics, its construction is such that it can be used in environments where it is exposed to moisture for long periods.

Commercial Ply

Created by following stringent Quality norms, this versatile ready-to-use plywood is the preferred choice for wood work, ideal for use in hot and humid climatic conditions and is fully powder proof, termite and moisture resistant.

Hardwood

Hardwood plywood's are ideal for high strength structural applications, such as bearers, joists, lintels and roof beams. The natural durability of most hardwoods also makes them perfect for external applications.

Semi Hardwood

Softwood timbers and engineered wood products provide specifiers and builders with products that are structurally strong, lightweight, easily transported and worked on-site.

Shuttering Plywood

Chequered Plywood

Chequered Plywood is widely used for flooring in industrial as well as pubic areas. The Chequered surface provides anti-slippage and high strength thus finds application in the flooring of in heavy vehicles and large containers.

WPC Plywood

WPCs do not corrode and are highly resistant to rot, decay, and Marine Borer attack and are often considered a sustainable material because they can be made using recycled plastics and the waste products of the wood industry.

PVC Boards

Our latest innovative introduction in the market replacing traditional plywoods/boards: Excel® PVC Integral Free Foam Sheet are chemically foamed, extruded rigid, light weight sheet with fine & homogeneous closed cell structure & smooth, hard surface finish on both sides. 7

Pine Wood

Finger-Joint Pine consists of small Pieces of wood that are recycled and Jointed together. This allows for ease of installation and less installation joints, typical of solid woods. Definition of detail, much sharper than MDF, the workability, nailing ease and personal preference for wood are some features.

Rubber wood

The environment friendly Rubber Wood base products is the first choice for architect and interior designers. Straton rubber Wood is the result of state-of-the-art machinery and technology combined with a highly skilled and motivated work-force and stringent quality control to ensure international standards.

White Beech

Uses include in decorative items such as Furniture, joinery, carving, turnery, picture frames. Other uses include Boat building (decking, planking. Was used to some extent in general building framing in the early to mid-1900s, and in flooring, lining, mouldings, joinery and cladding.

Steamed Beech wood

Despite its hardness, beech wood can be worked easily. It can be cut, planed, drilled and milled. When steam-treated it is well-suited, like the ash, to bending into form. Surface finishing is straightforward. It can be stained, painted and polished.

Teak Wood

Finger jointed teak boards offer a solution to the increasing shortage of solid timber panels and are sanded to produce finished solid lumber panels. Machining these panels can be done exactly the way solid lumber is machined.

American Walnut

Walnut works easily with hand and machine tools, and nails, screws and glues well. It holds paint and stains very well for an exceptional finish and is readily polished. It dries slowly, and care is needed to avoid kiln degrade. Main Uses include furniture, cabinets, architectural millwork, doors, flooring, paneling, and gun stocks. A favored wood for using in contrast with lighter-coloured species.

Engineered Wooden Flooring

Engineered wood flooring composed of two or more layers of wood in the form of a plank has the top layer lamella, the wood that is visible when the flooring is installed and is adhered to the core. The increased stability of engineered wood is achieved by running each layer at a 90° angle to the layer above. This stability makes it a universal product that can be installed over all types of subfloors above, below or on grade.

Laminated Wooden ooring

A multi-layer synthetic flooring product fused together with a lamination process simulates wood with a photographic applique layer under a clear protective layer has grown significantly in popularity, perhaps because it is easier to install and maintain & costing less than more traditional surfaces such as hardwood flooring.

Solid Wood ooring

Originally used for structural purposes, being installed perpendicular to the wooden support beams of a building known as joists or bearers. Solid wood floors have a thicker wear surface and can be sanded and finished more times than an engineered wood floor.

Bamboo Wooden Flooring

WPC Deck Woods WPC decking is an attractive and dependable decking solution that will withstand the test of time. It looks smells and handles like wood but has the durability of plastic. Being the largest distributor for WPC decking in India and South East Asia, Straton tests each piece to be knot free and consistent in size, colour and length, therefore eliminating the search for the perfect piece.

Teak Wood planks

Pine Wood

Commercial pine is denser, more resinous, and therefore more durable than spruce (Picea). Pine wood is widely used in high-value carpentry items such as furniture, window frames, paneling, floors and roofing.

Kalimantan Originating from the peninsular island 'Kalimantan, Indonesia', this type of wood is regularly used in building material construction. It isn't as heavy and hard as its other counterparts of the same species and also has less crack deformation.

Tamarind

Due to its highly sustainable growth factors and close to zero residual content, Tamarind outer deck woods reported to be durable to decay resistance and resistant to insect attack for multiple exterior purposes.

Rustic Walnut

Exotic hardwoods grown outside tropical areas, like walnut, are gaining in popularity with homeowners looking for fresh and exciting home interior elements to make a personal statement about their style, Rustic Accents from Straton Group offers that one-of-a-kind floor these homeowners are looking for.

Merbau

The tree's timber, called Merbau orkwila, is a very durable and termite-resistant wood, making it a highly valued material for flooring and other uses. The wood can also be used to extract a dye. Merbau can contain a "gold" fleck that runs through the grain, considered to be attractive by some.

Brazilian teak

There are many types of hardwood flooring available, but the one we recommend is Brazilian teak. It makes such a great quality hardwood floor that it is as if teak was engineered for this purpose. Beauty, boldness, durability, and low maintenance are their key features.

Decking Wood planks Plank decking is tongue and groove lumber at least 38mm (1-1/2") thick, with the flat or wide face laid over supports such as beams or purlins to provide a structural deck for floors and roofs. It is used where the appearance of the decking is desired as an architectural feature, or where the mass of decking is required to add to the fire safety of Heavy Timber construction.

SAWN TREATED TIMBER Being an organic material, a natural composite of cellulose fibres (which are strong in tension) embedded in a matrix of lignin which resists compression, from interior finishes through to structural damage; this wide-ranging collection of resources includes structural grades, span tables and durability tests to assist with building and design compliance.

African Teak Wood

Teak Wood has a leather-like smell when it is freshly milled. Teak timber is particularly valued for its durability and water resistance, and is used for boat building, exterior construction, veneer, furniture, carving, turnings, and other small wood projects.

Sal Wood

Sal is one of the most important sources of hardwood timber in India, with hard, coarse-grained wood that is light in color when freshly cut, but becomes dark brown with exposure. The wood is resinous and durable, and is sought-after for construction, although not well suited to planning and polishing. The wood is especially suitable for constructing frames for doors and windows.

Recon Wood

Recon Wood Veneer re-engineered timber panels are a positive contribution to the design industry. Manufactured from sustainable sources Straton's Recon Wood Veneer maximizes use of the log while retaining the unique qualities of its origins producing stunning natural wood grain appearance while being uniform and consistent across panels.

Padak Wood

Typically a dark reddish brown, or purplish brown: commonly with white resin streaks present. Has a coarse texture with medium to large pores. Grain is sometimes interlocked. Typically easy to work, some species may have a slight blunting effect on tools due to small levels of silica present in the wood.

Rose Wood

'Rosewood' refers to any of a number of richly hued timbers, often brownish with darker veining, but found in many different hues. All rosewoods are strong and heavy, taking an excellent polish, being suitable for guitars, marimbas, turnery (billiard cues, the black pieces in chess sets, etc.), handles, furniture, luxury flooring, etc.

Smoke / Fumed Series

Smoking techniques traditionally has been used to even out differences in tone on wooden surfaces and achieve a deep colour with an elegant natural sheen. With the smoking procedure, alterations in the tannic acid content of the wood cause slight distinctions in colour with unique light-and-shadow effects. In timber where the formation of heartwood is incomplete, areas of light-coloured sapwood remain visible after the smouldering.

Transculent Series

Thermoformability

One of the many exclusive qualities of our Solid Surfaces, the facility to be bent and formed to custom specifications, allows never-ending possibilities such as wash basins, kitchen sinks, designer table tops, wardrobes etc. Depending on the thickness and colour cluster, the minimum radius may vary.

Not only these Excellent Workability solid surfaces are extremely durable but also can be easily fabricated with wood working tools and seamless joints can be created with color matched adhesive.

High-pressure laminates (HPL) consists of laminates "molded and cured at pressures not lower than 1,000 lb. per sq. in.(70 kg per sq. cm) and more commonly in the range of 1,200 to 2,000 lb. per sq. in. (84 to 140 kg per sq. cm).

Meanwhile, low Pressure laminate is defined as "a plastic laminate molded and cured at pressures in general of 400 pounds per square inch (approximately 27 atmospheres or 2.8 × 106 Pascal’s).

A new type of HPDL is produced using real wood veneer or multilaminar veneer as top surface.
