A
stoplight
has three
colors
Green, Yellow, Red
Green means go,
but you should
always be aware
when entering
any intersection
for oncoming cars
and emergency
vehicles.
Yellow means
prepare to stop.
You should NOT
enter an
intersection once
the yellow light
has started.
Red means
STOP
You should stop
before or at the
white line at the
intersection
Red means
STOP
If right-hand turns are
allowed at the intersection,
you must stop first. If traffic
clears, you may proceed with
caution.
A car turning left must yield
to on coming traffic and
should allow a car turning
right the “right of way.”
