After a very intense week, Startup Pirates @ Lisboa is now over.

We tried to come up with a program with different activities, several moments to

share ideas and knowledge and some moments of pure networking. We are really

proud of all the teams. They did an incredible job and in the end they presented

very solid and structured projects.

Now it’s time to look back and evaluate the feedback we had from participants,

mentors, speakers and investors.

Let's look at the report...

What went well during the event?

Opinions

Only a word comes to mind about them all, excellent, and completely above my expectations.

If this was a movie, I would nominate it to an oscar ;)

Everything! It was an amazing week.

Every fuckin' thing ... YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME! Best week of my life!

The workshops and talks were awesome! I learned a lot in just one week. I really get out of my comfort zone and I'm not regretting anything. It was all amazing!

I think everything went really well. Mostly due to the crew, who made an excellent job, keeping us working motivated (and well fed!).

It's rather hard to say what went particularly well because the whole event was absolutely unforgettable.

The ship was a great idea, the hostel was amazing and the peddy paper was real fun.

This week made a hard effect on me, in my way of embracing everything upon me and in my life in general. For that reason, I am truly grateful for the opportunity

Adjami aims to develop a B2B cloud-based solution to improve the catalog updating process for producers, and real time dissemination in their network of retailers.

Foodzai is an online platform that connects amateur chefs to foodies. Something like a "peer to peer cooking". Chefs can share photos of their dishes in an organized way and, in a few clicks, create an online restaurant to sell food to people nearby. Dishes are sold in a takeaway basis but also in dinner events at chefs' houses. We crack up the restaurant concept. With Foodzai anyone can dream of being a “rock star” chef.

Lost in reality (LIR) is a smartphone application (Android/iOS) conceived to deliver a new experience for users visiting or walking through a city. In LIR, the user is immersed in a fictional story, written by local story-tellers and writers, where he/she will take part of that story as a character. Using audio-visual notifications, GPS positioning and augmented reality browsers, LIR will be able to provide engaging and fun role-playing experiences to the users.

Ideas & TeamsMobapi is a movement of creative synergies. A movement that boosts experiences,

connecting people, ideas, cultures and places. Through expeditions we challenge genuine interactions, co-create and awake the capacity to aspire. Mobapi is a mind set, an attitude. (Inspired in 4 ideas of the new times: Social Entrepreneurship, Web 3.0, Slow Tourism and Experience Economy).

CAVE is a multifunctional space for emergent visual artists to live, create and exhibit their art pieces. It includes services, amenities, and housing for artists, as well as partnership with galleries and art schools. CAVE project works as a bridge between artists and the general public, allowing artists to gain independence and making art and artists more accessible to people.

Culture Club is a network that disseminates information about cultural spaces and their agendas, allowing for unlimited access to the services on offer. Based on a flat-rate rationale, it helps the network partners improve the profitability of what would be empty seats and increase the number of visitors. This business model enables cross-selling, because club members don’t pay entry fees, and increases normal rate sales if Culture Club members take friends to watch performances with them.
