TheSourceplicitySoftwareDevelopmentProgramisafinancialincentiveprogramthatallowssoftwarestart‐upcompaniestodevelopsoftwareatcostpriceforapre‐definedprojectorcertainperiod.Thismeansthateligiblecompaniescandeveloptheirsoftwareproductsbetterandfasterwithashorttime‐to‐marketperiodatalowcostusingSourceplicity’ssoftwaredevelopmentcentreinKaunas,Lithuania.
Why do we offer this?
Sourceplicitywantstostimulateinnovativecompaniesinthemostdifficultphaseoftheirexistence,tosupportthemwithhighlyqualifiedresourcestodevelopsoftwareandbecomesuccessfulintheirtargetmarkets.ThereforeSourceplicityispreparedtoinvestinthosecompaniesbyprovidingdevelopmentservicesatcostpriceandshareinthefuturesuccessofthesecompanies.
How does it work?
Onceastart‐upcompanyparticipatesintheprogram,wejointlydefinethesizeandscopeofthedevelopment.Thiscanbeproductreadiness,developmenttimeoranyotherlogicalcriteria.
Theuniquenessintheco‐sourcingmodelisthatthecustomerwilldecidejointlywithSourceplicitywhichSourceplicityresourceswillbeassignedtotheproject.Nexttoprovidingtheresources,Sourceplicityco‐managestheresourcestogetherwiththecustomerandsupportsthecustomerinthedevelopmentprocess.ResultisthatthedevelopmentteaminKaunasbecomesanintegratedpartofthedevelopmentteaminhouseatthecustomer.OfcourseSourceplicitycandomoreandprovideprojectmanagement,adviceonmethodologies,qualitystandards,useoftechnologies,etc.It’sthecustomer’schoice.
Afterthepre‐determinedperiod,thecompanyeitherpaysSourceplicitythedifferencebetweenthepre‐agreedcommercialpriceortheoutstandingamountwillconvertintosharesofthecompanybasedonpre‐definedconversionrate.
