Claritum’s sourcing capabilities are proven to deliver a consistent best practice procurement process users, whether a novice user or an experienced buyer. To address the complexities of day-to-day print buying, our solution provides a unique combination of a structured RFx (Request-for-Quote, Request-for-Proposal), contract (fixed price) and spot pricing (capacity based). This approach allows for pre-negotiated contract prices for standard or commonly ordered specifications to establish a ceiling or baseline price. Users have the ability to improve on the baseline price through taking advantage of market variances or ‘spot pricing’ through RFxs and instant estimating. Buyers can quickly and easily compare supplier bids and award orders to suppliers for single or multi-sourced items component level (eg paper, print, finishing). Suppliers can receive RFx’s and respond within the application. Each element of specification is captured to allow granular analysis of spend in real time. This approach also enables integration with supplier estimating and production systems to further optimise processes and reduce errors. The supplier order award can be sent to the buying organisations ERP / Procurement system, into Claritum’s procurement engine or, for print service providers, seamlessly integrates with Claritum’s Sales Order Processing capability.
