Solar Power Production
Sourcing solar power generating equipment and producing a pollution free power at FIIB
Sangam Lalsivaraju# 138
Scope• The project facilitates power requirement only for the
FIIB campus• With the project facility daily 50KW energy to the
campus (on a sunny day)• The project will provide electricity for time of 25years
with regular maintenance• The project sources from solar energy only
Objectives• To enhancing the strategic agenda of the college
which is sustainability• To create renewable energy source to the organization
for day to day mechanical activities• To minimize the electricity and diesel expenses• To reduce the carbon foot print • To get a competitive advantage through this
sustainable business practice

Budget• Transportation : 25k INR• Mono-crystalline PV solar panels(50KW) plus set : 50 lacs
INR• Labour: 14*4*450 = 25200• Technicians : 7*3*1000= 21000• Cement ,welding, wiring and stationery = 30000• Total estimated budget 51,01200 INR
Quality criterion• Reduces the diesel usage by 45% in 6months down
the line• Saves electricity expenses up to 50,000 P.A• Generates a power of 2 MW per 40Days
Project Risk• Electricity shortages during installations (S*O*D)=(8*5*6)=240• Budget Overrun• Quality issues• Delays
