DURING TERM 2, ROOM 15 WATCHED THE BUILDERS MAKING A START ON THE NEW

CLASSROOMS. WE LEARNT ABOUT DRAWING A PLAN, GAINING CONSENT

FOR OUR PLAN, BUILDING A STRUCTURE WITH A STRONG FRAME, DIFFERENT

WAYS OF ATTACHING THE CLADDING AND MAKING A FLOOR AND ROOF. THESE ARE

OUR FINISHED HOUSES.

Room 15 Building Projects

Page 2: Room 15 building projects

Aaron’s House

My house is strong because I wrapped my house with cellotape and the ice block sticks are close together to make the house

strong as well.

Page 3: Room 15 building projects

Amy’s House

My house is 100% strong because I put lots of sticks on for the cladding and I put lots of cello tape to

keep the cladding on. My special features of my house are the security

camera’s and the rainbow and peach cladding.

Page 4: Room 15 building projects

Anaya’s House

My house is pretty strong but it

sometimes collapsed and sometimes the

sticks fell off as well. On the roof it is like

snow up top so if the big bad wolf

climbs up on the top he will slip and slide

and fall back off.

Page 5: Room 15 building projects

Ario’s House

Just a little bit strong

because it is almost falling down. I have one wall of cladding on and bracing

with a triangle brace on the

wall.

Page 6: Room 15 building projects

Caleb’s house with a bicylce

My house used to be very weak but when I put the floor on it got stronger and when I put the roof on it was even stronger again.

Page 7: Room 15 building projects

Dylan’s House

My house is kind of strong because it is

leaning a little bit but also has bracing so

that is how it is kind of strong. I have a door, a

ceiling not a roof (a ceiling is on the inside

and a roof is on the outside). I have

wooden cladding, a frame, bracing in the shape of triangles for

strength, and a floor.

Page 8: Room 15 building projects

Edrich’s House

My house will be pretty strong because I have 2 layers of sticks and it will have a strong base. I haven’t finished it

yet. The special features will be a security camera, flat screen TV, carpet, door, frame on the inside, roof, and a

floor.

Page 9: Room 15 building projects

Edward’s House

I think my house is strong because I put lots of cello

tape on my roof to make it strong. For my frame, my frame

is kind of strong. My special features of my house is my cladding that is

colourful.

Page 10: Room 15 building projects

Eirik’s House

My house is so weak that it can’t even stand up straight because I

used gift wrap tape and the frame broke twice. I used straws for the

framing, gift wrapping tape, sticks for the

cladding, a ceiling for anti water-proofness,

broken frame for weakness and bracing

for strength.

Page 11: Room 15 building projects

Gwen’s House

My house is quite strong but it is still a little bit

wobbly. It doesn’t have enough cello tape holding the cladding on. The special features

are framing, floor, cladding, bracing

and a roof.

Page 12: Room 15 building projects

Hana’s House

My house is very strong because I have bracing shaped like a triangle and I know that the triangle shape is the strongest shape. I have used lots of tape to hold the cladding together. The special features of my house are:• A security camera•A heat pump•A door that won’t open for the big bad wolf!•A strong frame•Wooden cladding•Soft floor•Bracing

Page 13: Room 15 building projects

Jacob’s House

My house is very strong because I

used bracing and strong

cladding. The special features are a roof, floor,

and security camera.

Page 14: Room 15 building projects

James House

My house is very strong because I put lots of cello tape all over the house as

the cladding and I put wooden stick bracing

instead of plastic bracing. My special features are 3 security camera’s, a door,

2 windows, window shutters, door knob,

bracing, a flat screen TV, floor, roof, walls, an

armchair, a bed and a strong frame.

Page 15: Room 15 building projects

Julia’s House

My house is strong because it has a sort of strong frame but it

also has an interlocking stick

which is hanging out as support. The

special features are a flower trap, telescope

stand, security camera, strong frame, emergency hatch, flat

roof, door and window. (cladding

too!)

Page 16: Room 15 building projects

KaYeon’s House

My house is quite strong because if I

try to blow it down it doesn’t really move. My house is not too

strong though because my cladding and frame isn’t that strong. I have an opening door, and

things on the inside.

Page 17: Room 15 building projects

Kyle’s House

My house is very strong because I put 2 layers of

milk bottle plastic on for the roof and I

put lots of thick ice block sticks

on close together for the

cladding.

Page 18: Room 15 building projects

Mackenzie’s House

My house is very, very strong

because I puts strong cladding on

with the wide sticks and lots of cello tape. The ice blocks have holes for the tazors, a flat screen TV, a

roof, cladding and a frame.

Page 19: Room 15 building projects

Mellisa’s House

My house is not strong because I didn’t put

enough tape on to hold the cladding on. I have a frame

of straws, wooden

cladding and a triangle shape fro bracing on

the top.

Page 20: Room 15 building projects

Mitchell’s House

My house is strong because I put wide sticks on. I haven’t finished all the sides. I have a floor, a frame and a triangle

shape bracing.

Page 21: Room 15 building projects

Morgan’s House

My house is not strong

because it is crooked and unstable. It only has a

frame, a floor and no

cladding yet.

Page 22: Room 15 building projects

Pahan’s House

My house is strong

because the walls are made in a block and

then stuck on and it has

more cladding to keep it strong.

Page 23: Room 15 building projects

Paradise’s House

Page 24: Room 15 building projects

Rita’s House

First my house was a little bit wobbly but

when I finished making my house it was strong. I put so much cello tape all around the cladding. The special features are a blue security camera,

a wooden roof and plastic sides on the roof,

a straw frame and wooden cladding.

Page 25: Room 15 building projects

Sadheera’s House

My house is a little bit strong

because I put on lots of cello tape over the wooden framing but it is

still crooked because my frame was crooked. My special features

are a roof, cladding, frame, floor and last but

not least is a triangle shape as

bracing.

Page 26: Room 15 building projects

Samrath’s House

My house is very strong but it is

crooked. I put lots of cello tape on the

framing to make it strong.

My special features are a frame, cladding,

security camera, a TV, a floor and a roof.

Page 27: Room 15 building projects

Seoyun’s House

I think my house is not strong because I didn’t put enough

cladding on as there were lots of

gaps.

I have a blue security camera and

I have a roof, and cladding and the

best is the frame.

Page 28: Room 15 building projects

Tom’s House

Very Strong house. I put

lots of security and

used pipe cleaners on the roof, a

strong frame, wooden

cladding, and an opening

door.

Page 29: Room 15 building projects

Vivian’s House

My house is not very strong but sort

of strong at the same time! When I dropped it on the ground most of it

broke but I fixed it again. It has a frame, wooden

cladding, a plastic roof, wooden floor and bracing on the

inside.
