We have often wondered why there is a crowd always gathered inside Ronak and why a
moonlight is spread over Chandni! in spite of the fact that they both deal in same kind of goods and quality and quantity remains the
same then what it is that makes Ronak a centre of attraction. This presentation would brief you
about the common techniques and qualities that Ronak masters and Chandni lacks in.
Introduction
Quick service:
The customer is at once taken by the sales people. In spite of the crowd, no customer is ignored or delayed of his
demands. Hence one of the most vital point is their fast and prompt services.
Huge collection:
Their collection would range from a 50year old movie to the latest stuff. They have 50 to 60 thousand of Bollywood
and more than 35 thousand of Hollywood collection. “We provide what customer demands”- Paras an employee
from Ronak.
Positive points of Ronak
Experience:
The 29 years experience has gained Ronak an upper hand over Chandi which has a mere experience of 5 years. Their services and salesmanship is improving since establishment as coated by the owner of the
shop.
Cheerful faces:
There is always a customer-employee relation maintained in the shop, every customer is treated
with smiling face which creates a healthy environment and it further helps the employee to
know of what customer needs.
Salesmanship:
The 29 years of experience has earned Ronak salesmanship ability, the fast services, cheerful
behavior all adds to their salesmanship quality. A customer is never disappointed with the kind of
treatment they receive there and over it with the quality and quantity they are entertained with. Their politeness to customers, their speech, their way of handling different customers is outcome of their
salesman ship.
Employ-employee relationship:
“Everyone, weather it is the staff or the owner are equally indulged in caring out the activities of the
shop, we do not have any owner, because we consider our customers as our king” -owner.
Because of this attitude there is a healthy atmosphere in the shop and which further leads to
prompt and cheerful services.
Co operation:
They also co operate in supporting students for their project works unlike Chandni, this co operation
ensures them brand loyalty and guaranteed customers for a long period of time.
Lack of salesman ship quality:
The Chandni people lack the very basic requirement of any business i.e. salesman ship quality. They cannot
handle their customer and hence they lose them. they lack politeness in their speech and moreover
they cannot establish a customer- employee relation and hence their loyal customers are few as
compared to Ronak.
Negative points of Chandni
Lack of experience:
Their reason for low sale also lye in their less experience as compared to Ronak, Ronak has a
command over his customer whereas Chandni lacks that wit. Their village behavior deprives them of
educated customers.
Limited quantity:
The quantity of Cahndni is limited to the latest hits and not too old movies and customer is not assured
of getting the stuff demanded.
There is almost no comparison of both. The long experience and down to earth attitude of the employees has given Roank a grip over their
customers. Ronak is well adverse with the tastes of there customers and moreover the customer prefer to go there. Though Chandni has more space than Ronak
the shop is not even half filled with customers. The healthy environment within the shop of Ronak has boasted them to work dedicatedly towards their

Comparative study of Ronak and Chandni
This clearly shows the level of customers expected in Chandni.
Moreover Chandni’s biggest blunder was its choice of location, they
established their shop next to a shop which is flourishing since 20 years!..
Cheerful atmosphere, prompt services, versatile collection and experience
gives Ronak a upper hand over Chandni.
Location :
The biggest blunder made by Chandni was, establishing their shop beside a well flourishing
shop. Chandni should change its line of production i.e. it should go for selling some other products, not this then it should change its location and it should
re-locate itself to a place where these shops are demanded. For E.g. University road.
Steps to bring some Ronak in Chandni
Salesman ship quality :
Its an inborn talent and cant be taught or spoon fed can only be brushed upon with experience. There is
no interest and enthusiasm seen in employees of Chandni towards their work. Due to lack of
employee-employer relation the environment within the shop becomes filthy so the customers feel
ridiculed. They should well understand the customers need and accordingly treat them.
Moreover Chandni should go for some sales promotion schemes of discounts and low price selling and it should also create a
lively and a cheerful environment within the shop so that more and more customers are
attracted.
