• The music which features in Rom-Com openings is most commonly upbeat to improve the audience’s mood from the start. The songs include instruments such as mainly a piano accompanied by, a guitar and a steady bass throughout. This then sets a pleasant mood for the rest of the film, and doesn’t cause the audience to feel uncomfortable like other genres might want them to.
