May I take this opportunity to welcome all distinguished guestspresent here. including the Ambassador of the Federal Republic ofNigeria to the United States, H. E. Frof. Adebowale Adefuye; Mrs NoamiKing, eldest living member of the family of the tate Civil Rights sage, Dr.Martin Luther King Jr.; the Guest Speaker, Dr. Aeeez F. Adedutan andthe awardees.

2. I congratulate the Association of Nigerian Organizations inGeorgia {ANOG}, for its commendable organization of this event. whichhas become en annual one. ANOG has translated to an example of theNigerian organizational excellency, unity in diversity and oneness of theNigerian comrnunal spirit. I urge ANOG not only to remain steadfest inthis direction, but to also continue to improve along the lines ofprogress.

3- My congratulations also go to the recipients for the award. Goingthrough their remarkable pedigree and citations, it is honour welldeserved. I commend them for their public spiritedness, for theirgenerosity of heart in giving to the less privileged and for carrying theflag of Nigeria to lofry heights es our informal emhassadors. I am

confident that they would stay committed to the values and actionsthet have hrought them this recognition.

4- As I mentioned in another forum, as Nigeria'ns, there are lots ofwork for us to do towards the socio-eeonomic development of ourcountry. I therefore urge every Nigerian to join the TransformatisnTrain of Fresident Gsodluck Jonathan towards the development of ourfatherland. No contribution is too liftle to make.
