Task 8 – Final Proposal

What Is My Topic? –

my topic is Image Interpretation

the reason I chose this topic was because

it’s a lesser known topic and i thought I

would like the image viewer to decide what

they thought of the image instead of being

told what they should interpret .

What Is the title for the Exhibition-

The title is “my Dark Past” I chose this title

because the images tell a story of a male

character (boy) who is trapped in his mind

and is controlled by faith {god and Satan}

who both hurt him even tho god shoud help

this idea of god not helping inforces a back

ground message off you can’t trust anyone

when they don’t understand the situation

in this case mental health.

Location for your photography-

My locations for my photos will vary in

species but will most be taken in my

home village bransgore mainly my

house and the new forest the surrounds

it.

My inspiration –

My inspiration for my photos is one

of two things my interest in horror

and gore this came along because of

both my music taste and film taste I

have always enjoyed emotional

based music (“emocore”) and i love

horror films such as sinister, silent

hill, hills have eyes and [REC] the

other reason is my current emotions

as I thought I should display my

emotion into my art so people could

understand how I feel without me

telling them .

Budget and equipment -

For my photography I used my personal camera “cannon 1100D” I also used my “Deluxe Tripod 200” to steady the camera my camera cost £220 and the tripod was £40

Exhibit presentation style-

The way I will present my exhibitions is by printing my photos onto card the placing them onto a large black piece of paper around each photo there will be a description telling the story that links the photos I will then stand and present/ explain my inspiration and how I took these photos
