Photo shoot in Bristol with 2 models

Write a reflection.DEADLINE.

I used this calendar to plan out what I’m going to do on each day in order to reach the deadline within a week. This will make it easier for me to know exactly what I need to do that day.

Organisation of musicartists/bands/models

I have begun to consider what sort of models I want to use for my photoshoot – what I want their appearance to be, what I want them to wear and how I want them to pose. I want my magazine to be aimed at a younger audience (16-25) and so I have decided I want to use models that fit the colourful and fun student image. I sent emails to a few of my friends that I thought would be ideal for my shoot but the times and locations I had in mind were not suitable for a few of them. However, I have found two people who agreed to do it through contacting them on Facebook messages.

There was a change of plan because the two models I organised to do the shoot with backed out so I used one of my friends as a model and did the photo shoot in my back garden. I have chosen this person because she have a unique and interesting appearance and way of dressing. This is what I want to focus on in my magazine, individuality in young people. I want to show unusual styles and fashions that might inspire others. I want my model to be dressed in bright quirky clothing and to be posing in fun and exciting ways because I want them to be the main focus and to appear young and fresh.

White roses to signify purity and beauty. Also to add a girly touch to my shoot.

I also want to use red roses in my shoot to show the dangerous side to teenagers. Also to signify love and romance.

I want to use a mirror ball in my shoot to make it look fun and to show how teenagers love to party.

These lace gloves will give a punk rock feel to my shoot but also fashionable.

I want my model to wear a lacy top because its stylish and goes well with my theme.

I want something short and snappy but also bold and effective. I want the font to stand out from the page and involve a similar colour scheme as my contents page and double page spread.

Fonts

My three final choices out of the fonts are, Traveling Typewriter, Learning Curve, Skinny. As I feel all these fonts relate well to indie rock and to the image of my band/artist. I will decide what suits best when producing my magazine.
