Orange in Romania

Orange leader in Romania with 10.4 million customers. leading the way in innovation, aiming to offer its customers the best communication services available.

Orange Romania has a wide network coverage. In 2004, Orange launched EDGE technology, a first for all of South-Eastern Europe. In 2006, Orange Romania launched 3G services and 3G+ in 2007

“Firsts” on the Romanian broadband market : data transfer services, mobile e-mail and internet access, online store where customers can buy mobiles, accessories, promotional items, services like Smartphone Expert, Smart Services, iPhone 3GS.

In 2010, Orange continued its development strategy by offering full internet access solutions: laptop together with broadband internet service plans that enable people to access their e-mail and applications from anywhere, at a speed of up to 14,4 Mbps. The portfolio of connecting devices has been enlarged for instance providing wi-fi features for home or mobile use. Orange has maintained its position as a provider of complete mobile internet access solutions.

My Golden rules

Customer is the king

Dedicated experience is key and each screen has specific ergonomic principles -> Don’t replicate, don’t instantiate, just create
