Collaboration as market driven business
Finland is a pioneer in bioeconomy, circular economy and cleantech. By developing, introducing and exporting sustainable solutions Finland aims to create growth and jobs, increase energy security and achieve climate goals.
Companies are in the central focus• Enterprise and innovation activities to reform the economy and
increase growth and to promote investments -> creates a permanent platform for the development
• The majority of new jobs are created by SME’s• Transformative, resource efficient innovation can change
societies socially, economically and ecologically better • Enterprise and innovation activities should be inclusive: local
culture and community adaptation, customized solutions and co-development
• Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

New business and technology transfer projectsCustomer first – in all markets• The main requirement for successful collaboration is to prove the
will and potential to develop the society.• The need is not always in line with willingness and possibilities to
develop the infrastructure and business.First we need to understand the basic problem to be solved.• The technology transfer requires in most of the cases training or
even wider approach to the education system.• Sometimes requires long term relationship, not in the interests of
the companies => governmental organizations and UN• Corruption, unorganized infrastructure and lack of common
rules are the worst show stoppers
The target is to have win-win deal to all parties, also environment.

CLEAN WATER
Finland’s world-class clean water expertise guarantee drinking water free of bacteria and viruses. Potable water is better than most of the high-street water brands.
Finnish municipal waste water treatment is among the best in the world driven by the strict legislation and monitoring by authorities.
By treating effluents on site we keep our lakes clean despite water intensive industries, like pulp & paper and mining & minerals.
