Some participant comments

Experiencing the environment: “…it looks good you have the ocean you have all the warm good feelings and even though I’m not used to running around in warm areas like this you get really good feelings that made me motivated…”

“I remember it pulled for me some memories of actually running, the last time I was actually running on the sidewalk or through my neighborhood.”

Discussing the ability to exchange knowledge:“I think, the group had many ideas that inspired, too.”

“I was able to tell about a new trend where a handful of people started running, which today gathers several hundreds each week”

Some participant comments

Designing your avatar:“I’m currently in my work avatar, which is an extension of my professional life and when I show up in SL with this avatar I’m a representative of my company and therefore I adjust what I’m saying and doing accordingly. While during the workshop I showed up with my personal avatar, that I use for volunteer efforts in SL for not-for-profit organization. So, I think I adjusted my behavior just a little bit, by being a little bit less worried and more relaxed about just meeting people without being under a particular pressure to make a lot of sense.

Remembering the experience:“I remember being here, the colors, the layout, the tables, the decision board, I remember you, I remember wearing those tennis shoes, the shorts, t-shirts, I have all of that as part of memories set about the all issue, running.”
