Over the past few weeks, we have had numerous changes within our organization. We have welcomed many new associates to our team, and also have had numerous internal promotions.

Please join us in congratulating Guadalupe Cruz on his promotion from QC Lab Technician to Scheduling and Production Data Analyst for the HEXPOL Compounding Queretaro team. Guadalupe has been with the Queretaro team for over 15 years, having passed through various warehouse functions and QC lab positions.

Please join us in congratulating Jorge Hernández on his promotion to Engineering and Maintenance Manager for the HEXPOL Compounding Queretaro team. Jorge has been key in the supervision and execution in 2014 of Line 2 and currently of Line 3 capacity expansion projects in Queretaro.

Congratulations to Jacob J. Walters who has been promoted to the Accountant position with HEXPOL Compounding, reporting directly to David Roberts, Corporate Controller. Jake has been serving as a Credit Analyst since he joined in March, 2015. While attending college he worked at Vallourec Star, Youngstown, OH as an intern in Financial Planning and Analysis. In his new role, Jake will be assisting the Accounting Department in their efforts to accomplish the Company's goals and objectives by providing accounting and financial support. This will include recording of various journal entries, preparation of monthly account reconciliations and other General Accounting functions. In addition he will be involved in tax preparation, the annual budget and various audits.

Please join us in congratulating Terry Wright as he transitions into his new role of Inside Sales for the HEXPOL Team in Dyersburg. Terry has been with the company 3 years. During this this time he has held various positions which includes Compounding, Team Leader, Quality Assistant and most recently a Customer Service Representative. Terry has just completed his first year of the John Maxwell Leadership Training Program.

Please join us in welcoming Sergio Castañeda in the HEXPOL Mexico team. Sergio will be the coordinator and overseer of the continuous improvement programs of both HEXPOL Mexico facilities, Aguascalientes and Queretaro. Sergio comes to HEXPOL from the major wire and cable company in Mexico. He has a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineer, and more than 10 years’ experience in R&D in polymeric materials. He is an analytical thinker with a scientific focused approach on problem solving, with good project leading skills. He is personally very interested in nanotechnology and is a designated expert in the subject.

Please join us in welcoming back Tyler Greenwell to the HEXPOL Compounding team. This is Tyler’s second semester as a Co-op Trainee in the Maintenance Department. He will be reporting to Trevor Fisher, Maintenance Manager and will be working on special projects for the Team.

Sean Stybel has returned to HEXPOL Compounding - Burton Rubber Processing on May 23, 2016, to start his second semester as a Co-op Trainee in Research and Development, reporting to Lynn McIntyre, Materials and Analytical Services Manager. Sean will be focusing on customer problem solving, raw material evaluations, and development projects with the technical team. He will be following trials and attending customer visits to gain additional experience and knowledge.
