NaturCert's mission is to help organizations & professionals adopt environmentally responsible as well as corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices, for achieving a sustainable operation and managing change.

For achieving this, we continuously work on the development and improvement of new and existing innovative sustainability solutions for the international hospitality & tourism market.Since our foundation, May 2008, we have been expanding our international presence, today covering 10 countries, by appointing selected Representation offices with local partners.

Our goal for 2010 is to expand our presence in to multiple new territories, for building further our penetration and offering through our local partners the solutions we develop to the local targeted clients.

The tasks a NaturCert Representative has to perform are the following:

Marketing

Promoting NaturCert's solutions to each location's hospitality &

tourism companies.

Consulting

Providing to the clients the necessary support depending on

the solution/program they have chosen to implement,

following the specified processes and using all the resources

provided by NaturCert.

Partnerships Development

Propose, initiate and implement partnership-based actions with

partner companies or organisations specifically relevant to

each location for improving sales & marketing.

An international sustainability index for hospitality & tourism companies, available online, based on a questionnaire answered by the client, automatically producing an overall score of the sustainability performance of the client.

NaturCert Certification

An international independent sustainable tourism certification, having fully adopted the GSTC principles and structure, covering the following sustainability aspects:

• Sustainable Management

• Environment

• Social Economic

• Cultural Heritage

Available for selected types of tourism related companies, audited by third-party auditors.

NaturCert Certification allows companies to achieve international recognition as green & sustainable companies operating responsibly.

All NaturCert Programs & Tools are now entirely based on and have fully adopted the Global Sustainable Tourism Criteria (GSTC) The GSTC have been developed in accordance with the International Social and Environmental Accreditation and Labelling Alliance Code of Best Practice by the UNWTO, UN World Tourism Organization, UNEP UN Environmental Program, UN Foundation and a coalition of over 30 recognized international organizations among which:
