Stop motion was first edited on Serif Movie +, then exported on to Adobe Premier.

Once the stop motion scenes were exported, we were able to edit these further. For example, making the sad flashback a black and white colour and adding a date at the bottom, so it reinforces that its in the form of pictures.

Here we chose to use an effect which goes with the artist pulling down the picture- this effect is called page turn. To get the turn correct we had to adjust this our self.

We decided to start the video off with a blur effect as we thought this was a better idea then going straight into it.

We chose to use a spilt screen after receiving audience feedback. To get the spilt in the middle we had to ensure we could see both scenes clearly and the width was equal.

In order to get the split screen off we decided to use a slide.

To get into the stop motion scenes we decided to use a dissolve. To get out of these scenes we decided to dip into black.

We decided to edit the length of the dissolve as we didn't want it to last.

As the scene were she is packing the box was really long we decided to cut the scene and join it to another part of the same scene. Here we also used a dissolve as we wanted the scene to flow.

In this last scene we also decided to add a cross dissolve, as we thought this looked effective.
