Why is it Vulnerable To Be becoming extinct
•Fisherman are killing to many of them.
•Dams and Weirs stop natural river flows and other flood events. (many parts of the Murray Darling now have their annual flow patterns reversed.
•They have introduced new fish. (Red fin perch, which are their predators, and eat lots of fish larvae).

How are we destroying it’s Habitat
•Polluting it’s river the Murray Darling.
•Adding extra fish into it’s environment.
•Removing snags which are a critical feeding and breading sites for the Murray Cod.
•Also Woody snags for the juvenile Murray Cod

How Can We Improve it’s Chance of Survival

•In different states they thinking of rising the current size limit.
•Put in artificial snags, or even just replacing them.
