Shopacheck had been managing regulatory training using NetDimensions Learning as their Learning Management System (LMS) for eight years before the merger. Morses Club, decided to implement NetDimensions Learning across the entire newly-combined organisation.

Meeting strict FCA compliance requirements

Morses Club is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), which regulates financial firms providing services to consumers in the UK. This means that all employees and agents have to be fully compliant and up-to-date with the latest legal and regulatory requirements.

Morses Club uses NetDimensions Learning for all regulatory training, covering topics such as the Data Protection Act and the Consumer Credit Act. all of this using NetDimensions Talent Suite,” explained Steve Wright, Head of Learning and Development at Morses Club.

Training for the dispersed workforce

“We assess individuals based on their own job profile and competencies for their particular role. We set the training that they need to complete, as well as an overall score. We also define an individual’s training needs based on reports on their performance and competency levels. The reports on performance levels allow us to assess any performance issues, and give us critical data to aid in succession planning,” explained Wright.

The performance reviews at Morses Club are based on the conversations between an individual and their line manager, and look at their role profile and their competency for that role. The results and the following training needs are then recorded in the system. The end-user has a very smooth experience, as the NetDimensions Talent Suite solution is branded for Morses Club and the integration between Learning and Performance Management processes is seamless.

The flexibility of NetDimensions solutions

Now that Morses Club uses the NetDimensions Secure SaaS solution, the software upgrades are very quick and easy. Previously the company was hosting the system on premise. Now Morses Club gets the latest product updates automatically on a regular basis.

“I would certainly recommend NetDimensions. NetDimensions Talent Suite is ideal for proving that mandatory training has been completed and everyone has been assessed for the competencies for their specific job roles. In addition the system allows a lot of flexibility to meet the company’s needs. Without NetDimensions, it would involve too much paperwork,” concluded Wright.
