Our comparisons show that diversified players, those in which wealth management is an operating division of a larger financial group…


Were more successful at increasing assets & operating income…


Than their pure-play counterparts who have an exclusive focus on private banking and private client investment activity.


Diversified firms saw a growth in net new money (NMM) with an average percentage change of 57.3% in 2012.


Pure players only saw NNM rise 6.4% from last year.
