Tap Start > Messaging.

Tap Menu > Tools > New Account.

Enter your e-mail address, then tap Next. Auto configuration downloads e-mail server settings.

Once Auto configuration has finished, tap Next.

Enter your name (the name you want displayed when you send e-mail), user name, and password; hit Next.

Enter your 10-digit mobile (cell) number (numbers only) and tap Next.

Select Portal or ISP and tap Next.

To set up Xpress Mail, you will need:

Work e-mail address.

The type of mail server your company runs (Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes or IMAP).

The computer you use to access your corporate e-mail (must be connected to the Internet).

Open Internet Explorer to the following page: http://xpressmailpe.cingular.com

Click Register Now and fill in required form fields. Note: Remember your Xpress Mail User Name and Password for later.

Click the Open or Run button and the desktop software will begin to download.

Click Yes when asked whether or not you want to install the desktop software.

Click Next to begin setup and follow the onscreen instructions. When prompted for a User Name and Password, use those created in step 2.

When Xpress Mail has successfully connected to your corporate e-mail account, you will receive a message confirming that your software is installed and you are now connected to Xpress Mail.

Good™ Mobile Messaging provides real-time wireless push synchronization of e-mail, calendar, contacts, tasks, and notes for Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes.

You must have an account on your company’s Good Mobile Messaging server. Contact your IT department if you do not have an account.

Install ActiveSync on your PC, as described in the Getting Started Disc.

After ActiveSync is installed, the Synchronization Setup Wizard automatically starts when you connect your device to the PC via USB, infrared, or Bluetooth.

Select the information types to synchronize between your device and computer.

When you finish the wizard, ActiveSync synchronizes your device automatically. Once synchronization completes, you can disconnect your device from your PC.

In ActiveSync on your device, tap Menu > Configure Server. If you have not yet set up synchronization with Exchange Server, this appears as Add Server Source.
