Introduction from the Executive Director

accepted an offer within three months of graduation

97%Our Masters in Management programme continues to go from strength to strength with an impressive 97% of our MiM2014 class accepting job offers within three months of graduation. 47% of these graduates ventured outside of the UK to work in organisations across 28 countries, contributing to London Business School’s mission to have a profound impact on the way the world does business.

It is fantastic to see numerous companies returning this year to hire, in many cases more than one MiM graduate. London Business School also fosters a strong entrepreneurial spirit. This year has seen numerous MiM student and alumni start-ups. Several of these are being nurtured in our Incubator programme.

We believe in developing strong and lasting relationships with organisations around the world. Recruitment fairs, Business Immersion Week and international career treks offer a wealth of opportunities for potential employers to engage with our MiM students, and forge close ties with the School.

Global Immersion Field Trips are a wonderful opportunity for our MiM students to extend their understanding of how business cultures differ around the world. This year Silicon Valley (technology start-ups and innovation) has been added to the portfolio, which also includes Paris (customer experience), Munich and Milan (supply chain and operations), and Shanghai (business and finance in China).

The School has further strengthened its ties in Asia, joining with Shanghai’s

Fudan School of Management to launch a two-year, double degree, the Global Masters in Management. Starting in September 2015, 40 students will spend two years studying and working in the UK and China, gaining insight into both Western and Eastern business practices.

In a competitive job market it is critical our MiM graduates continue to stand out from the crowd. In addition to core management studies – accounting, economics, financial management, marketing, leadership and organisations, strategy, and management analysis and systems – we also launched specially designed MiM electives this year. Our broad range of electives enable MiMs to study alongside, and learn from, students from our other degree programmes. By doing so they gain insights from their knowledge and experience of working with organisations around the world.

As the world’s youngest leading business school, entering into its 50th Anniversary, we are proud of what we have already achieved and look forward to an inspiring future.

I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank our recruiters for having confidence in the world class talent our graduates can bring. Together we will shape the future of global business.
