Meeting Attendance

Before the meeting

What’s the purpose of the meeting? This can have an impact on the way we structure and plan the meeting. The meeting purpose should also be reflected in the participants present. For instance…

• General creative brainstorm on new project• Decision critical meeting on next step• Informative meeting regarding project-status etc.• and so on…

Code of conduct

• Everyone is expected to be on time – not 5 min. before/after!• All meetings should be made through the shared calendar• If meetings should be postponed, advise the invitees by e-mail• Send out agenda prior to the meeting• Dedicate responsibilities for each participant, if such exists• Mobile phones not allowed or muted• Laptops should only be used for related work during meeting• Be prepared• Don’t leave the meeting before it ends• Conclude and evaluate meeting and next step responsibilities

Roles and responsibilities

By dedicating roles/responsibilities for each participant, we encourage and request engagement from all people involved in the meeting/project.

All invitees should come to the table with input and information and this way get involved in the particular project.

Thanks!
