Mr. Kamal Amir Chinoy is Chief Executive of Pakistan Cables Ltd. He graduated from theWharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA. He serves on the Board of Directors ofInternational Industries Ltd., International Steels Ltd, Pakistan Security Printing Corp (printersof the country's banknotes) and Atlas Battery Ltd. He is also Honorary Consul General of theRepublic of Cyprus.

Mr. Kamal Chinoy is a member of the Executive Committee of the International Chamber ofCommerce (ICC), Pakistan and the President of the Management Association of Pakistan(MAP). He was the Chairman of Aga Khan Foundation, Pakistan for 6 years. He was also onthe Board of Governors of Army Burn Hall Institutions. He has also served for 3 years on theUndergraduate Admissions Committee of the Aga Khan University.

Shahid Javed Burki is a Senior Scholar at the Woodrow Wilson Center and Chairman of theInstitute of Public Policy Executive Council at Beaconhouse National University in Lahore,Pakistan. He also spends some time each year as Senior Visiting Research Fellow at theInstitute of South Asian Studies, National Singapore University. He held numerous seniorpositions with the World Bank over a 25 year career, including Vice President of Latin Americaand the Caribbean, Director of China Operations, and Director of International Relations. Healso served briefly as Pakistan's Finance Minister, and earlier, Chief Economist of West Pakistan.

Mr. Burki was educated at Government College, Lahore from where he received M.Sc. inPhysics; at Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar from where he received M.A. (Hons) inEconomics; at Harvard University as a Mason Fellow from where he received M.P.A. and alsostudied for Ph.D. in Economics. Mr. Burki has authored several books and articles ondevelopment issues including Study of Chinese Communes (Harvard University Press, 1969);Pakistan under Bhutto (Macmillan, 1990); Changing Perceptions, Altered Reality: Pakistan'sEconomy Under Musharraf, 1999-2006 (Oxford University Press, 2007).
