Space Requirement for Mounded tank installation is as per the Static and Mobile Pressure Vessels. Usually, space for Above Ground installation will be more than mounded

installations for alike size installations.

Cost of installation for mounded tank installation is more than above ground installation including the civil work and cathodic protection that needs to be provided to prevent the

tanks from corrosion.

Safety of Installation: BLEVE (Boiling Liquid expanding Vapour Explosion) that is essential with the above ground open installation. This risk is FULLY eliminated in case of

the earth covered mounded installation. The mounded installation is hence called

enhanced safety installation
