There Is Significant Importance of having as many connections as possible on LinkedIn – Here’s Why …..
1st Connections are those you are directly connected to, but without premium, you can’t connect to people you don’t
know; contact requests require you to know the person’s details.
2nd Connections: Second connections are those you share connections with, and you can have your shared
connection introduce you to get connected with them.
3rd Connections are your second connections’ connections. You can send contact requests to people if you’re in the
same group as them, too. So, having more connections will allow you to access other people, and not only that,
you’ll be appearing higher up on searches if you share mutual contacts with someone.
