1. IT provides the business unit a sample of the data currently generated by the Line of Business software.

2. A business unit employee with word processing skills and LetterGen training creates the template using LetterGen Designer. They easily “drag and drop” fields from the data file to the document, and create logical conditioning based on the data to change text, pictures, and graphics on the fly. The new document is then stored as a template on the server and IT is notified of the new template version.

3. IT tests and verifies the template with existing data to confirm the presentation, conditioning, and delivery via print, email,web, and fax and then places the new document into production or requests changes from the business unit before going live.

In days or weeks, instead of weeks or months, new business campaigns are driving new interest, increased sales and customer satisfaction!

LetterData is an interactive environment for document creation and generation. It allows a user to select a template and include optional pre-designed fragments as appropriate. Users are prompted to enter the required data for the template and can also add non-standard ad hoc information if needed. Once completed, the document is automatically passed to the next step in a workflow. LetterData is a perfect solution for legal documents or complex documents that change based on changing source data. Document processes may be started by an employee and forwarded via workflow to a customer to add required information. All users along the workflow are guided by

LetterGen to complete the required information using “traffic lights.” Red alerts them to required information, and green tells them that all required information has been entered in the section. At a glance, users can see the status of the document. In the event a document cannot be completed, users may return to it later — where the traffic lights will easily alert them to the information that still needs to be entered to complete the document. After it is saved, the document can then be transferred to a manager for validation, approval and digital signatures. Finally, the document can be transferred to post-processing services like digital certificates, pass-words, emailing, printing or faxing.
