Lab Grown Diamonds

but did you know that there is even better quality labgrown diamonds available? These diamonds arephysically, optically and chemically similar to mineddiamonds,
There are 2 ways in which lab grown diamonds are made-
High Pressure High Temperature(HPHT)
Chemical Vepour Deposition(CVD)

This process imitates the way diamonds are producednaturally.
A carbon ‘seed’ is placed in a press which is speciallymade and is given a high pressure with high temperatureof about 1400 Degrees Celsius to produce high qualitydiamonds which can be used either for jewellerymanufacturing or industrial uses.
Chemical Vapor Deposition
Developed in the 1980s, the CVD procedure does notrequire pressure, instead, it involves the heating of amixture of hydrocarbon gas (generally methane) andhydrogen in a vacuum of extremely low pressures.
The resultant diamonds are free from any chemicalinclusions or other impurities.
