Joseph Hundeby is is a Ph.D. candidate and a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks.
He is licensed in the field of general education and is working towards his license in special education. .
He received his Bachelor's of Education from Iowa Wesleyan College and then went to the University of Minnesota to obtain his Master's of Education.
He has traveled to Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota, Kansas, Ohio, Nebraska, and Missouri. He was nominated to Phi Delta Kappa for academic excellence and contributions to public schools.

He implemented, maintained and created 16 academic course offerings in the software program Plato for the Alternative Learning Center (ALC).
He established and enforced rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among students while utilizing behavior intervention strategies.
He taught socially acceptable behavior, employing techniques such as behavior modification and positive enforcement.
He developed and implemented strategies to meet the needsof students with a variety of handicapping conditions
