  • 1.Internet Marketing has been around for the past few years, but for the past two years, ithas become a necessity in the Marketing arena. There was a time when magazines andnewspaper publications were king, when it came to a companys marketing becausemany of the upper echelon publications have filed bankruptcy. Those that made thechange with the technology age, have chosen online publications, and scaled back ontheir paper publications because they are rapidly becoming obsolete. Technology hasforced companies to change their marketing plans. Thepublication, newspaper, neighborhood papers are still prominent in localneighborhoods, and rural territories. Still many companies fail to understand how theInternet will benefit them, as they move forward with their Marketing campaigns. Many willstill opt to find optional print media to continue their marketing, although it is, or never hasbought them the success that they had hoped for. It is just what they think comfortable tothem because not knowing how Internet Marketing works.Introduction

2. The many trends have been associatedwith Groupon and Angies List becausemany of the Marketing companies arefailing to get their clients on the first page ofGoogle. Many businesses think that theirmarketing plan failed so; they elect to haveCoupon offers with Groupon, which cutstheir prices, and at the same time, giving upa hefty percentage of their profits after thetransaction. Although this is the latesttrend, it is not as effective for manybusinesses because they continue to losecustomers, and have given utmost of theirprofits, before they come into theirestablishments. Although Angies List andGroupon are popular trends, manycompanies are also creating Blogs, withbacklinks, to their companys website, togenerate potential clients. Manycompanies have websites, but they areineffective because their website is notranked with the proper SEO (Search EngineOptimization). 3. Linkedin, FaceBook, and Twitter will be an integral part of making itpossible to achieve this, in connecting with the right groups, andnetworking activities. There are so many companies that rely on marketingcompanies to create a marketing strategy for them, without anyidea of what is being done. Many companies have had websitesfor years that their clients never knew existed because of nooptimization. Therefore, they had a site built, and thought that itwas all they needed to get clients into their businesses. If acompany is trying to keep their company in the publiceye, internet marketing is the right way to accomplish this. Thereare many Marketing Firms that appear to be knowledgeableabout how to assist a company in increasing their revenue, but failto do so. Many businesses owners understand this, and their mainobjective is to get to the first page of Google. That is an elusivefeat, which has been an expensive one for them toaccomplish, without the right Marketing plan, strategy, orpersonnel. There are so many Internet Marketing conceptsavailable, in this ever-changing industry that is has become adifficult choice for many businesses. They just have to make asound decision on where and how, they will spend their InternetMarketing and Advertising budget. Internet Marketing should betheir top priority. The key is doing it right. 6.
