Google has announced the launch of Google+ Pages, which are designed specifically for businesses on Google+, as opposed to Google+ Profiles designed for individuals.
It is a good idea to set up your Google+ Page as quickly as you can and it is a relatively simple process.

CHOOSE AN ACCESSIBLE GOOGLE ACCOUNTYou must have a Google+ personal account in order to create and manage a Google+ Business Page. Once the page is created, you will be able to invite up to 50 managers for the page.

CREATE A PAGE WITH THE DESIRED ACCOUNTVisit http://plus.google.com/pages/create, and select the option to create a Google+ Page! Follow the steps and choose the most appropriate option to classify your business. Fill in your basic information, including your page name (i.e. your company name), your business’ website URL, your category (i.e. your industry), and the classification of your page’s content (i.e. any Google+ user or 18 years of age or older).

PROMOTE YOUR PAGEYou will now have created the main foundations of your page. Google+ will now encourage you to promote your page. It is wise to customize your page further and begin to share a few updates before you tell everyone about it. If you decide to promote your Page at this time, you will be promoting the Page through your personal Google+ profile rather than acting as the Page.

OPTIMIZE FURTHERYou have now done the basic work you need in order to get your page launched. However, the basics are not usually enough. Optimizing your page is vital to make it more engaging and beneficial for your SEO efforts. It is important to bear in mind that Google+ is a social network, so it is advisable to regularly respond to people and share fresh content in order to generate leads and increase engagement. We recommend adding additional pictures, videos, status updates and linking to your website and other social profiles to connect all your web assets on Google+.
