Adele

From looking at the image of Adele, you are clearly able to identify that she is quite a big woman, however her portrayal in the image shows that she is comfortable in her own skin and makes curvy women look like goddesses. With Adele’s make-up blending in with her pale skin colour, it makes it look like that she’s hardly wearing any make up at all. Also with her hair being curly, Adele pushes her hands in it, in which makes it seem as though she’s portraying a sexual look in image for the camera (along with her smokey eyes) . With editing techniques used to make her skin flawless, you are able to identify a shadow the right side of Adele’s face in which it highlights her cheekbones.

Dress SenseAdele likes to wear a lot of black clothing that complements her shapely figure, in which a lot of is quite formal. The colour use of black, can reflect the sadness and darkness in her music. Her simple style reflects on her simplistic features as an artist, as her music has a Soulful /Pop field to it. The image above, shows Adele wearing a purple velvet dress or blouse, in which it is simple as it has no unwanted patterns on it. The colour of the dress similarly matches the colour of the backdrop and somehow goes with the brownish red table that Adele is resting her elbow on. As the image has been slightly edited, the whole shot looks very vintage and extremely classy. This shows the Adele can be sultry, when it comes to photo shoots as it shows a mature aspect to the image, as Adele is maturing herself as she begins to get older.

Usher

From looking at the image of Usher, you are able to see that he is a man who likes to dress and look sharp for himself and for the ladies. In the image, Usher is pulling the collar of his leather jacket, in which he is giving a look to the camera that identifies attitude, through his body language. This is to show the difference between Usher being a boy and a man, as he clearly gets the advantage of having attention from women. With the background being white, it clearly draws the attention to Usher.

Through clothing, this represents Usher’s genre of Pop/R&B although black can reflect to being quite dark and sad. However, Usher usually balances this by including a primary or secondary colour shirt or jumper. This is shown in the image above, as Usher evidently shows off a blue t-shirt/jumper to the camera. Also from the image that you can identify, is a gold chain been talked into Usher’s blue t-shirt/jumper and a gold ring on Usher’s third finger. This adds a bit of swag to the image.

From looking at the image of Ellie Goulding, you are able to see that she is a young woman, in which she has a soft/sweet innocent look to her face. This is also identified in the pout that Ellie is giving towards the camera. Behind Ellie, shows leaves and branches and a green bush that is out of focus; this portrays a calm atmosphere to the photo. With her hair being quite ruffled it gives it a chic look, in which a lot young girls find this extremely trendy. This look would be appealing to a lot of young girls who want to look like Ellie Goulding. This can also be appealing to a lot of men, as they may find Ellie very

attractive to look at, in images.

The pale colours, helps represent her as Pop/Indie artist, in which the softness in colours also reflect her soft melodic voice tone. Justin BieberFrom looking at the image of Justin Bieber, you are able to see that Justin is a sophisticated teenage boy, who is identified as a teen idol and heartthrob from the media. In the image, Justin is giving a smirk towards the camera although, you are able to see the smirk come through his eyes (which is also known as smiling with your eyes). As Justin’s skin colour is pale orange, it shows a differentiation to the cream backdrop behind him and the white t-shirt that he is wearing. With Justin’s dirty brown hair covering most of his forehead, this can set an ideal trend for boys who may want their hair done ‘Bieber Style’. Also the target audience seeing the image may find the image appealing to them, as young girls may find Justin as an attractive young man,

while young boys may idolise to be like him.

Dress SenseJustin has his own unique style, although he likes to wear a lot of clothing that has inspiration from the late Michael Jackson. Justin’s style is very youthful as he likes to wear a lot of primary and secondary colours in his outfits. He brings back a lot of old school, through his style (e.g. tucking trousers in socks) in which this influences his fans to follow his trend. Also with his famous hair, a lot of boys were influenced by his haircut in which they also started trending it. From looking at the image above, Justin is wearing simple clothing, in which he wearing a white t-shirt and black cardigan, which identifies the simplicity in the video.

BeyoncéFrom looking at the image of Beyoncé, you are to see that Beyoncé is a confident woman, who is happy with the way she is; with or without make-up. In this image, it shows a lot of natural beauty from Beyoncé as she is hardly wearing any make-up. Also in he image, Beyoncé is giving a classy pout towards the camera, in which her hair is quite frizzy, but she works round this by wearing a bureau. This image could be appealing to young girls/women, who believe that they have to wear make-up to look beautiful or pretty, in which in this image, Beyoncé shows that it is not always the case, for all girls/women. This image can appeal to a lot of target audience, whether it being men, women, homosexuals, young adults or teenagers.

Dress SenseBeyoncé likes to wear a lot of clothing that compliments her shapely figure. In doing so, in concerts and performances she likes to wear a lot of leotards, as she finds it easier to work with, when doing major choreography routines. When it comes to style, Beyoncé likes to wear a lot of fashion that is trendy, whether they are painful or not, she always makes sure that it is appealing for the audience and that she looks flawless in it. Although the image, doesn’t show Beyoncé wearing any clothing, from looking at her burgundy bureau you can identify that she is trendy woman. The vintage badges on the burgundy bureau, gives Beyoncé that edgy military look, in which the military look is also helped by Beyoncé’s frizzy, caramel blonde hair.
