INNOVATION & VALUE ENGINEERING

Charging Stations

Charging stations across various key areas can be placed to

charge electric vehicles

Grading and sloping will be adequately provided in the infrastructure master plan to the extent possible within the

1:6000 scale.

All roads / NMT corridors / Pedestrian Facilities / BRT / MRT lines and other horizontal details will be done on high

quality, water proof vinyl and pasted to the base of the model. Suitable colors will be assigned to each of them for

easy differentiation.

Greenery/ landscaping, water bodies will be clearly visible through appropriate color differentiation on the landscape.

Pipelines / network lines will be shown above the ground level (On top of the model) to make it visible and LED

strip/optical fiber lights will be used to enlighten the features for better presentation

Transport infrastructure facilities like Bus bays, Bus terminals, IPT facilities street furniture, street lights, MRT/BRT

integration facilities, lane marking, and zebra crossing markings near junctions will be shown.

Water Treatment Plant details like filter house, clarifloculator, stilling chamber, chemical house and other structures

would be done in detail using 3D Printing technology at accuracy of 0.1mm. GLSR and Overhead tanks will be done to

the detail drawings and 3D printed.

Sewerage network with sewerage treatment plants, inlet levels, out flow levels will be 3d printed to perfection

APPROACH & METHODOLOGY

Storm water drain network will be shown above the ground level with colored pipes using LED/Optic fiber lights

Transportation network with Roads, railways, bridges, under passes, over passes (flyovers, clover leaf etc.)

Roads and railways tracks will be done with appropriate colors in Vinyl print and bridges using 3D printing

ICT network, HT lines, Gas network will be highlighted with LED/Optic fiber lights. Gas bank building, gas plants will

be 3d printed

Proposed Blue consultants channel widths, proposed reservoirs, navigation theme, river front development, island

beautification, realignment of pala vagu, kotela vagu and Kondaveti vagu etc will be done with special separate

lighting with a individual control option to highlight these features

Infrastructure facilities, utility buildings /layouts/ outlines etc will be done using 3D printing technology at an

accuracy of 0.1mm against traditional methodwhere we can achieve an accuracy of upto 1.5mm only

Dams, reservoirs, lakes, water bodies and their catchment areas (existing and proposed) will be shown in the model

with the clear details with individual switch control option to highlight

Proposed flood management concepts at undavalli ,govt complex and vykuntapuram ( pumping ) will be shown in the

model with the possible clear detailing and with separate lighting option.


Green features like parks, avenue plantation, road side green zones, city level and zone level green details will be

shown in the model on high quality water proof vinyl with the best possible clear details

Assembling/Disassembling : The main base structure of the model will be made into no. of pieces so that it can easily

be easily dismantled and transported to many places and reassembled like bolt and nut simple concept anyone can

achieve. Table for the model also be made in modular form for easy mobilization

Alteration : Model can be altered any time easily for future modifications

Greeneries, Trees, Flower and plants

(All the elements are custom made by our own model making team)

Greeneries / Lawn – Fine, medium and large particles saw powders with Asian paint strainers to form any shades of

greens.

Shrubs/flowers – Fine, medium and large particles of Latex cushion with Asian paint strainers to form any shades of

shrubs with flowers

Normal Trees – Copper stems and pasting nylon/latex cushion particles with super glue, stems would be shaped

according to the type of tree (Requirement).

Palm Trees – Molded plastic stems in realistic shape of palm stem, palm leaves would be cut from nylon green painted

sheets to the scale. Stem and leaves would be joined using super glue.

Coconut Trees - Molded plastic stems in realistic shape of coconut stems, coconut leaves would be cut from nylon

green painted sheets to the scale. Stem and leaves would be joined using super glue.

MATERIAL SPECIFICATION

Street lights

Metal street lights double/single with LED head. Pole will be done using 3D printing and SMD LED 1.0mm size will be

inserted and soldered permanently

Cars

Metallic finish 3D printed cars with white LED head lights and red LED rear lights. Different design and colored one will

be used

Canal Finishers

Plain/Flat Water bodies – Transparent thin acrylic/glass sheets would be painted at bottom side to get water effect, LED

hidden lighting can be added

Pedestrians

Hardscapes like paving area, jagging track, pavements, walk paths, etc would be done using high quality 300 pixel

water proofed vinyl prints and cutting would be used to bring live feel of actual landscaping and site layout

Road finished surfaces

Asphalt road type texture, plain concrete roads, paver roads, pedestrian roads are done in high quality pixels will be

used and printed water proof vinyl


Non- motorized transport

Cycles, battery vehicles, etc will be 3D designed in CAD software to 1:100 scale and 3Dprinted in multi color and

various designs

Traffics Signals

Metal traffic signal poled will be 3D design with electrical wiring holes, colored LED lights will be inserted and wired

Rotary Features

These features will be 3D designed from 2D drawings received from CCDMC and 3D printed or manually made

according to the design complexity and its features and finally assembled on the overall model.

Main Structure base of all 3D models

� Aluminum/Metal/pest controlled wooded reapers will be used to make the framing structures

� 12mm thick 1st quality plywood/mdf will be used on top of the framing structure

� 5mm/10mm smooth grade imported half white foam boards will be used on top of plywood

� Master plan 2D color printed on water proof vinyl thick 0.5mm will be pasted on top of foam board

� AS the base is made in number of pieces (for easy assembling/disassembling), the interlocking system method will

be applied between each mating pieces of base for perfect alignment and less visibility of joint lines, bolt and nuts

will be used to clamp under the base


3D Printing Material

US based composite powder material in 24 bit color ink and binder for all the buildings, 3D structures, bridges, WTP,

STP, GLSR, Overhead tanks, 6000 scale vehicles ,iconic bridges, monuments, city gallery, etc will be 3D printed with.

Mounting table for the 3D models

Shape: Rectangular

Type: Box type with maintenance access door

Inner structure: Made of “L” angle metal structures.

No of Metal structure for each table: 5 to 6 pieces considering mobilization of table.

Assembly type: Metal structures will be assembled together with bolt and nuts.

Outer structure: ¾” thick high quality water proof plywood

Outer finish: Laminated mica sheets of 1mm thick of required color.

Dust proof cover (Glass Enclosure)

Glass Thickness: 12mm thick clear glass

Finish: CNC cut and CNC polished

Toughening: Done at ISI certified manufacturing unit

Quality: Saint Gobain or Equivalent

Assembling on model: Assembling will be done at site. All four side vertical plates will be fixed using UV transparent

glue (Replacement of aluminum or steel frames which will obstruct the visibility of model. Top plate will be made as

either single piece or 2 piece considering mobilization of dust proof cover.
