Carlsberg Use Case

Carlsberg is trying to mobilize personalized operational reports and dashboards to their sales rep

A typical sales rep for Carlsberg spends majority of his day on road, meeting customers & is rarely in office

Problem: The problem is that when sales rep is on the road meeting customers he isn't connected to the latest sales KPIs, whether it is the sales pipeline, new opportunities, or hot leads. He knows he is always one step behind the latest metricsThe current KPI reports are created in Excel and sales rep either caries printouts or downloads these reports on to his laptop. Apart from these reports being non-interactive, he would also be not able to answer adhoc questions from his customers since he cannot slice and dice the data. Worse still, these reports are out of date almost the moment they were published.

Carlsberg Use Case

The Solution

Carlsberg now has mobilized their reports on to Mobile (iPad and iPhone) using SAP BusinessObjects Mobile. Sales rep can now sign in and view real-time KPIs on his iPhone/iPad. He can now access new lead as he is travelling and set up an appointment with them to convert them into a customer.

Sales rep can now see KPIs that were relevant to his position, and wouldn't have to sift through a mammoth report to get the metrics he needed
