Problem Statement

India’s innovation rate is high but its implementation rate is low and is unequally distributed.

• India scores 3.4 out of 100 in patent families filed in at least 3 offices. The score is 7 to 8.4 for resident patent applications.

Patents

• India scores 47.5 out of 100 for universities and industries research collaborations for innovations. Including other innovation linkages, the average score is 30.9.

Innovation Linkages

• India does not stand anywhere as per the utility of these innovations as compared to other countries. India scores only 0.6 out of 100 in new business density.

Innovation output

India’s rural population is higher than urban population. Although the innovation input in both the sectors is high, the innovation sectors developing in these regions are different and the connections to share these innovations are low.

Solution Proposed

Creating a common platform for developing, registering and implementing designs.

•Project Acquisition Team: •Discover projects in developed as well as undeveloped stages from colleges, industries, SMEs etc. •Technical Consulting Team: Check sustainability of the design. •Undeveloped designs to be collaborated with research institutes.

• Collaborate with a legal firm. •Register the developed designs and provide patents. • Money involved in registration to be reimbursed by company buying the design.

• Find appropriate company to manufacture the design as product. • Find target users of the product and create awareness for its utilization.

Develop Register Implement

The solution provides a pathway for students, industrial employees, people from rural areas or any other individual to develop their paper work into an actual design under observations of technical experts and thus removes the barrier for innovation such as lack of facilities, illiteracy, poverty and lack of confidence.

• Create a base with developed and registered designs to build the trust.

• Collaborate with Institutes with different research programs.

• Provide survey and feedbacks from related buyers to companies buying the design.

• Literate volunteers and trainers for collaboration.

• Awareness programs, cost reduction and resource conservations.
