1. How to Pack Large Paintings, Photo Frames and Mirrors
2. Painting, photo frames and mirrors all come under the
category of fragile articles and need to be packed in a special
manner before moving. We will teach you an easy way of packing them
so you dont need to spend on packaging experts. To start off we
will need a large flat cardboard box, packing paper, bubble wrap,
tape, a pair of scissors and a marker.
3. Step 1 - Unroll the bubble wrap and place it on a large flat
surface making sure that its smooth side is up with the bubbles
facing outwards to prevent air bubbles from marking the glass.
4. Step 2 - Lay your picture on the bubble wrap facing
downwards and cut the bubble wrap big enough so that it covers your
picture.
5. Step 3 - Now fold the bubble wrap over the picture and start
taping down. Always remember not to tape directly onto the picture.
Repeat this process until your picture is fully covered and all the
edges are tucked in neatly.
6. Step 4 - Take the flat card board box and make a layer of
packing paper by crushing them inside the box. It will give your
picture and the bubble wrap a bit of a cushioning and prevents it
from rattling around.
7. Step 5 - Take your picture and place it on the layer of
crushed paper inside the box. If you want to give more protection
to the edges of your picture then you can go for edge protector, I
found some edge protectors of different sizes at,

8. Step 6 - Now take more sheets of packing paper and push them
each side of the picture to prevent any moment.
9. Step 7 - After this cover the top of the picture with more
packing paper so it provides more cushioning to the box.
10. Step 8 - Tape the box strongly and make sure that the
picture is packed firmly by shaking the box gently.
11. Step 9 - If fragile is not written on the box then do write
it using a marker. Thats it now your picture is safe for
moving.
