- diligent application of waste hierarchy - cascading use of biomass - excellent separate collection - legislative framework – targets are needed - restrictions on landfill WITH equal restriction on incineration - waste shipment (certifications) - EU cohesion funds - partnerships between businesses and municipalities - economic tools (modulated EPR fees, PAYT) - market distortions (renewable energy...)
