• Multi-generational workforce becomes increasingly

challenging. Different generation usage of technology, how they

receive and process information is diverse.

• Content is king – needs to be electronic, suitable to read on

hand held devices and needs to be engaging. Rich media.

• Loss of control over corporate messages. Conversations

happening in multiple channels.

• Users are fed up coming home and seeing amazing sites and

awesome apps in their consumer communications. Yet at work

it’s restricted by enterprise tech.

• Happiness no longer a taboo word! Happier staff = higher

productivity.

• On a scale of one to ten – how satisfied are you at work

today? Traditional means of staff surveys are outdated. Analytics

has improved to allow organisations to measure engagement.

• Internal no longer enough. This needs to include extended

organisation – suppliers and partners.

• Using more rich media – less text, more images and video!

• Go mobile – BYO device. Content needs to be relevant on

devices as well.
