HotSpot uses mobile phones to make paying for parking easier and more valuable to a community.
The driver downloads the App on their smartphone and simply selects the desired length of the parking
session, presses the park button and goes on their way. The App will remind the driver when their session is
about to expire so they may remotely top-up their session to avoid tickets. The App is also a communication
channel to send info about businesses, community activities, alerts, weather, etc.
Hotspot is free to the city. The system is easy to setup and manage with only a sticker placed on any meter.
