THE COMPANYHAL had its origin in 1940 as a
private limited company founded by a far sighted
industrialist Seth Walchand Hirachand to manufacture
aircraft.
CONT………Hindustan Aeronautics Limited
(HAL) is a premier aerospace company under the Ministry
of Defence, Govt. of India, with its corporate office at
Bangalore. The company has 17
production/overhaul/service divisions and 9 co-located
R&D Centers spread across the country.
ADL LUCKNOWAccessories Division of HAL was
established in 1970 with the primary objective of
manufacturing system and accessories for various aircraft
and engines and attain self sufficiency in this area. Its
facilities are spread over 1,16,191 square m. At present it
is turning out over 1132 different types of accessories.
ADL DIVISIONThe ADL Division has divided
in to three factories Instrument Factory Mechanical Factory
