HATCH! ANGEL is seeking for potential investments in three main industries: Technology, Education and Agriculture, in which innovation technology is the focus.

Startups are eligible to apply for angel investment at HATCH! ANGEL:• Has minimal viable products (working beta/prototype)• Less than 5 years in market• Never has received funding from institutional investors

Follow up

Startup is required to send the business pitch deck and fill in an online application, which is published on http://angel.hatch.vn/application-for-startup.html no later than the 15th each month.

Selected startup will get a response within 10 business days for next step instructions.Rejected applicants are not allowed to re-apply within 03 months.

Note: Application for May 2015 is opened until 14.5.2015.

Follow up

Startups passing the application round are invited to a direct interview with the Management board, which will be a face-to-face meeting or a video conference.

Selected startups will get a response within 10 business days for next step instructions.Rejected applicants are not allowed to re-apply within 03 months.

Follow up

Startups selected after the interview session will receive direct coaching from the Board of Mentors to refine the business case as well as to improve the business pitch and presentation skills.

The coaching sessions are organized on a one-on-one based at least 2 weeks prior to the Monthly pitching event.

Follow up

Startups are scheduled to pitch at one HATCH! ANGEL monthly pitching session.

This is not an elevator pitch to filed expressions of interest. Startups are encouraged to sell the business case with expectation of an amount of angel investments along with benefits to angel investors.

The pitching session can prolong for over one hour or more if the investors find the company compelling and wish to confirm their decision.

Profile of the startup business will be published for HATCH! ANGEL members on HATCH! ANGEL site after the pitching event.

Follow up

Startups receiving investment intention from angel investors at the pitching session will take part in a due diligence process. This process may take from 3 to 6 months before any financial transaction is made.

There may be more than one angel investors will join in each deal to balance the risk and add strategic value.

HATCH! ANGEL coordinator will periodically facilitate and follow up the investment relationship between startups and angel investors until 2 years after the deal.

*HATCH! ANGEL is a private angel investor network to provide mentorship and financial investment for early-stage startups.
