DISABILITY LAW CLINIC Services for Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security recipients. Will assist persons with disabilities whose rights have been violated. (707) 528-2745. Provided by Empire School of Law.

California Rural Legal Assistance: Provides free legal services for low-income persons. Helps with landlord/tenant, employment, education. (707) 528-9941

Child Support : For assistance in obtaining a child support order, collecting child support, and/or establishing paternity contact Sonoma County Department of Child Support Services (866) 901-3212

Fair Housing of Sonoma County: Provides information and referrals for landlords and tenants in the areas of housing discrimination and landlord-tenant relationships, law and practices (707) 579-5033.

Lawyer Referral Service : The Sonoma County Lawyer Referral Service is designed to assist people with finding the right lawyer. The initial consultation costs $50.00, unless you have suffered a personal injury or have a social security appeal or workers’ compensation claim. (707) 546-5297

Legal Document Assistants: Legal Document Assistants can prepare legal forms for you but cannot give legal advice, explanation, opinion or recommendation. They charge a fee for their services. You can find many of them listed under A Legal Document Assistants @ in the yellow pages of the phone book.

Recourse Mediation Services: Recourse is a community-based agency that provides mediation, reconciliation, and conflict resolution education. (707) 525-8545

Sonoma County Legal Services Foundation: Legal services are available on a sliding scale based on an individual's income. Low costs workshops are offered monthly on various topics such as restraining order problems, lawsuits in civil court, cleaning up criminal records, driver’s license retrieval. (707) 546-2924
