Gregg T. Warburton (Canton, MA) Is An Alumnus Of Stonehill College

Gregg T. Warburton, a resident of Canton, MA, is an experienced Outside Plant Engineer and served Verizon for more than 22 years. In 1982, he enrolled in Gettysburg College for a course in General Business Studies. He remained in the college for two years and played for the college basketball team. In 1985, he got transferred to prestigious Stonehill College in Massachusetts, from where he graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Economics and a minor in Political Science. By the spring of 1986, he completed an internship through the Washington Center for the FDIC.

The Stonehill college is one of the most prominent non-profit, coeducational, and Roman Catholic Colleges in the country. The college was established in 1948 by the Congregation of Holy Cross. The college is rated as one of the best colleges in the US and offers an array of academic programs. Along with playing basketball, Gregg also developed interest in playing golf and tennis. While in the college, he developed a passion for reading books, which is still his major interest.

Gregg T. Warburton (Canton, MA) attended ALPHA IV, which is an intensive data training course offered by Hill Associates. This training helped him excel in the field of data communication. He enhanced his skills and knowledge by taking part in various workshops and attending an array of seminars on different aspects of data communication.

He joined Verizon Communications Inc., as an Estimate Assignment Supervisor and after a few promotions, he became the project manager and Outside Plant Engineer in the company. Verizon, a telecommunications company started as Bell Atlantic in 1983. In 1997, the company merged with NYNEX based in New York City. In 2000, Bell Atlantic merged with a company named GTE and adopted the name Verizon. This was among the largest mergers in the US.
