The palm oil industries in Indonesia and Malaysia have received
attention and criticism for their part in the destruction of vital
rainforests, which are home to vulnerable species including the
orangutan.
Rainforest destruction is also considered by scientists to be a

we call on other international retailers, such as Carrefour and
Wal-mart, to do the same. Since the beginning of our campaign,
hundreds of thousands of people have contacted Nestl to say that
they will not buy products linked to rainforest destruction.
