Choose  Your  Own  Adventure:

Shredbot  The  idea  behind  my  project  is  simple.  First,  Recycling  is  always  important  and  if  we  are  going  to  put  3D  plas3c  printers  in  every  home,  we  are  going  to  make  mistakes  with  our  plasRc  projects.  Why  not  reuse  and  Recycle  those  projects?  Second,  we  are  all  useing  so  much  plasRc  now  anyway,  why  not  recycle  it  in  home  and  reuse  it  as  well?  I  have  seen  one  filament  extruder  on  Kickstarter,  and  it  raised  a  couple  of  quesRons  for  me,  "How  are  we  going  to  reduce  plasRc  bo?les  and  other  plasRc  consumables  into  pieces  small  enough  to  place  easily  into  an  extruder,  and  make  it  easier  to  store?”

The  answer..........>>>>>The  Shredrbot<<<<<

OCULUS  Oculus  is  a  remote  controlledt  robot  consisRng  of  an  adjustable  frame  that  holds  a  variety  of  small  laptops  (aka  netbooks),  complete  with  powered  wheels  and  a  RlRng  periscope  for  the  laptop's  built-‐in  webcam.  It  has  easy-‐to-‐install,  open  source  control  so_ware,  and  you  can  control  it  over  the  internet  using  any  PC  web  browser,  iOS  or  Android  device.

•  Telepresence:  2-‐way  audio  and  video

•  Remote  surveillance:  leave  the  robot  running  for  weeks  while  you're  away  from  the  home  or  office

•  Flexible  Robo3cs  PlaKorm:  open  source  Java  so_ware,  open-‐hardware  Arduino  compaRble  microcontroller

•  Best  used  on  smooth,  hard  floors

SketchChair  SketchChair  is  a  free,  open-‐source  so_ware  tool  that  allows  anyone  to  easily  design  and  build  their  own  digitally  fabricated  furniture.

The  goal  for  this  project  is  not  just  to  complete  the  so_ware  and  release  the  source  code,  but  also  to  build  an  online  community  of  people  creaRng,  sharing  and  ediRng  designs.

Within  the  program,  users  will  be  able  to  upload  chairs  they  have  created,  which  will  then  go  on  display  at  SketchChair.cc.    Any  of  these  chairs  can  then  be  downloaded  and  edited,  allowing  chair  designs  to  evolve  as  users  conRnually  refine  and  modify  them.    In  this  way  we  hope  that  SketchChair  will  be  like  an  open-‐source  Ikea  store,  filled  with  customisable  products!
