Product Categories and Customer Profiles

PLUS+ Products target 6 distinct customer profiles—offering 20 PLUS+ stand alone products. Products can be soldindividually, bundled across PLUS+ Products categories, or embedded into core protection coverage such as auto,homeowners, or extended warranty. The opportunities are unlimited.

1. Identity & Credit Card Protection

“Risk & Financially Savvy Consumer”These customers are seeking protection for their payment cards on which they are heavily reliant financially and emotionallyfor daily purchases of goods and services. Due to the high card dependence customers carry their cards in their wallets(WalletGuard). Daily card exposure can make them vulnerable to fraudulent card activity (Fraudulent Charges) and theftof their identity (Identity Theft Coverage). These individuals usually carry little to no cash and therefore access to ATMs isimportant when cash is needed (ATM Assault and Robbery). Consider bundling two or more of these protective covers.

Identity TheftIdentity Theft is a product that provides your customers with reimbursement forexpenses related to resolving an identity theft which include:

� Legal expenses

� Lost wages for time off from work

� Tools to recover identity theft, including sample letters that can be used tocontact financial institutions, credit bureaus, collection agencies and lawenforcement agencies to recover one’s identity

Fraudulent ChargesFraudulent Charges reimburses your customers for unauthorized charges made onlost or stolen payment card up to 12 hours prior to first reporting the event to thepayment card issuer. Cash advances are not covered.

ATMAssault and RobberyATM Assault and Robbery provides your customers with peace of mind when usingan ATM at home or abroad. This coverage reimburses customers for the moneywithdrawn from any ATM machine worldwide using their payment card, shouldrobbery occur within 15 minutes of the withdrawal. Customers will receivereimbursement of emergency first aid charges for bodily injury suffered during acovered ATM assault and robbery event.

WalletGuardIn this fast-paced world wallet theft is increasing. Additionally, your customershave daily dependence on items they hold in their wallets. WalletGuard providesyour customers with replacement of costs for:

� Lost or stolen wallet

� Payment cards

� Lost or stolen papers, including driver’s license, passport and other forms ofgovernment identification

� Application fees for applying for new personal papers

Money, checks and transportation tickets contained in the wallet are not covered under this product.

2. Supplemental Travel Coverage

“Astute Traveler”These customers are cautious planners who enjoy personal travel and want to ensure they are able to enjoy their trip whileaway from home. They will purchase protection to eliminate financial worry while taking pleasure trips. The three supplementaltravel covers provide financial protection against accidental damage (Personal Trip Liability), protection for lost and stolenbelongings (Personal Trip Effects) and home contents insurance (Home Protection While You Are Away). A Personal Trip is anynon-business travel with a distance that is greater than 50 miles or 80 kilometers. These protective coverages can be bundledtogether or sold individually.

Personal Trip LiabilityProvides customers with liability protection for accidentalbodily injury and property damage to third parties duringa personal trip when the entire cost of passenger fare ischarged to a payment card.

Personal Trip Effects CoverageCovers your customers with replacement costs for loss, theft or accidentaldamage to their:

� Luggage

� Personal papers

� Personal effects

� Loss or theft of money and checks

� Passenger fare(s) of personal trips charged entirely to a payment card

� Travel costs and necessary accommodation expenses incurred to obtainreplacement of lost or stolen passport while abroad

Loss of passports that occurs domestically and theft that occurs on business trips are not covered.

HomeProtectionWhile YouAre AwayProvides contents coverage for your customers’ homes against burglaryevents when away on a personal trip for which the entire cost of passengerfare was charged to a payment card. This coverage provides reimbursementagainst burglary events for the damage, destruction, loss or disappearanceof the following items:

� Furniture

� Clothes

� Electrical and stereo equipment

� Money and checks

Supplemental Travel Coverage can help eliminatecustomers’ worries when traveling for pleasure byproviding them with added financial protection andsecurity.

Purchase ProtectionThis coverage goes beyond thelimitation ofmanufacturer’s warrantydefects and protects your customers’purchases from loss due to theft andaccidental damage for 90 days from thedate of purchase. Itemsmust bepurchased entirely with a paymentcard. As an example, coverage providesa fixed dollar amount such as

US$1,000—US$3,000 per occurrencewith aUS$5,000 aggregatelimit. Other limits are available upon request. Any items carriedby customers or acquired during a personal trip are not covered.

Price ProtectionPrice Protection coverage reimburses your customers for anydifference between the purchase price paid for an item and alower printed advertised value for the same item within theagreed timeframe. The standard product item must costUS$50 or more and be paid for entirely with a payment card.Other limits are available upon request.

Key Replacement CoverageIn this fast paced world, paniccan strike when your customersdo not have access to their homesand/or vehicles for an extendedperiod, due to lost or stolen keys.Replacement coverage will reimburseyour customers for the following costs of replacing theirresidence and/or vehicle/keys which are lost and/or stolen:

� Break-in Protection: cost of replacing locks andkeys if residences or vehicles are broken into

� Lockout Reimbursement: cost of obtaining alocksmith if locked out of the residence or vehicledue to the loss or theft of their keys

� Rental Car Reimbursement: cost of rental car whilethe vehicle key is lost or stolen and replacement willexceed 24 hours

E-GuardEverywhere you lookyoung people aretexting and evenmore adults havebecome reliant ontheir electronicsand cell phones.E-Guard provides comprehensive coverage for customersof all ages* who purchase personal, portable electronicequipment. The coverage is comprised of four components:

� Accidental damage to electronic equipment

� Burglary or robbery of personal electronicequipment

� Wallet coverage from theft

� Identity theft coverage

Appliance Repair CoverageProvides customers with the comfort of knowing they canreceive quality repairs to their appliances without greatexpense—while keeping their homes running smoothly.Appliance Repair provides repair or replacement expense foryour customers’ existing domestic kitchen and laundryappliances, in the event that there is an electrical failureand/or mechanical breakdown after the manufacturer’swarranties have expired. Mechanical breakdowns are notcovered under most homeowners insurance.

WarrantyGuardThis coverage provides customers with the comfort ofknowing that their appliances, which they depend on daily,

will have double the manufacturer’swarranty up to a maximum of 12months. The protection applies torepairs and replacements for anydomestic electrical goods andappliances that customers purchasewith a payment card.

3. Product Protection

“Smart Shopper”These customers are cautious shoppers who plan before making a purchase. They value and seek protection for items

purchased and want to ensure that damages and defects do not cause them financial distress (Purchase Protection, E-Guard,

WarrantyGuard and Appliance Repair Coverage). Some customers search for discounts (Price Protection). Other customers

in this category have daily dependence on their electronics and connectivity with family members and friends (E-Guard).

Additionally, while they take the time to become educated customers, they live a fast paced lifestyle and cannot afford to

be without access to their home and vehicle (Key Replacement Coverage).

4. Lifestyle Protection

“Smart Lifestyle”These customers are easy to target due to their hobbies as golfers (Golfer’s Insurance), boaters (Watercraft Coverage)

and/or collectors (Private Collections). Using one or more PLUS+ products will enable your business to offer meaningful

protection to this defined group of customers who take time to enjoy life and are seeking protection to reduce worry when

having fun. These unique protective offerings can help strengthen your customer relationships by providing meaningful

insurance they will appreciate as you demonstrate respect for their lifestyle.

Golfer’s InsuranceGolfer’s Insurance is a unique product your company can use to targetcustomers who play golf—the fastest-growing sport in the world.This coverage includes:

� Liability: covers legal liability for accidental injury to others orproperty damage while playing golf at any course or club

� Hole-in-One Coverage: provides reimbursement of expense incurredas a result of scoring a hole-in-one at any golf course or club

� Loss of Clubs and Personal Effects: covers the loss of clubs, bags andother personal items

� Personal Accident: covers injury or death while your valued customersare playing golf at any course or club

Watercraft CoverageWatercraft Coverage provides protection for your customers’ personal useof their watercraft, targeting sailboats, motor boats, and other pleasure craftsup to 13 meters (approximately 42 feet) in length.

Watercraft Coverage includes hull, machinery and liability insurance:

� Hull andMachinery: covers the direct physical damage to, or loss ofpersonal watercraft arising from: fire; lightning; explosion; theft;collision; accidental damage; falling objects and salvage charges

� Protection and Indemnity Liability (P&I): covers liability for propertydamage and bodily injury and related legal costs

Private CollectionsPrivate Collections provides coverage for your customers’valuable fine art, collectibles and jewelry including:

� Higher limits than conventional homeowners policies

� Additional coverage limits for new acquisitions up to 10%of the policy limit with a cap of US$250,000 for eachcategory: fine art, collectibles and jewelry

� Cost of restoration and resulting diminution of value forpartial losses

� Sub-limits for unscheduled fine art, collectibles andjewelry

� Worldwide coverage

We provide financial protection for disasters whether anextraordinary situation results from a natural disaster orpersonal disaster.

*If the primary residence is covered a second home can also be covered. Properties used as rentals and mobile homes are excluded from coverage.**This is not homeowners insurance.***This is not automobile insurance.

Disaster Cash Coverage*

Disaster Cash Coverage pays your customers a defined cash benefitto help with critical expenses when their home(s) becomeuninhabitable for more than 48 hours due to direct physical lossor damage that results from one of the following governmentdeclared natural disasters: flood; forest or brush fire; earthquake;volcanic eruption or other convulsions of nature; hurricane/typhoonor windstorm/cyclone. Disaster Cash coverage can alsobe customized for non-government related disasters, such asindividual house fires.

Disaster Mortgage**

Disaster Mortgage provides your customers with mortgagereimbursement in the event their homes become uninhabitable forover 48 hours following a disaster. Permanently uninhabitable homeswill receive lump-sum payments toward the outstanding mortgagebalance up to the defined limit. Coverage does not apply to propertyrepair or rebuilding. It is designed to complement your customers’existing primary homeowners policies; the coverage reimbursesmonthly mortgage payments.

Personal Disaster***

Personal Disaster coverage pays your customers a defined cashbenefit if their vehicle is stolen or totally destroyed due to fire orcollision. In the case of loss, we will provide your customers an agreedupon benefit to be used as an advanced payment for the purchase of anew vehicle. We may also provide cash benefit if their vehicle istemporarily disabled, to enable alternative transportation to bearranged while the vehicle is being repaired.

5. Disaster Protection

“Ultra Planner”These customers most likely have reason to plan ahead for a disaster, based on past life experience. Purchasers of Disaster

Mortgage (mortgage reimbursement) and Disaster Cash (cash payment to help pay expenses) are seeking to protect their assets

and usually live in high risk areas.

Chartis International Personal Lines understands that a disaster can also strike on an individual basis, as is the case when acustomer’s car is destroyed due to a personal accident or is stolen. Customers who buy Personal Disaster have great concernabout being without their car should it be lost as the result of a personal catastrophe or theft.

6. EnhancedAuto Protection

“Cautious Driver”Customers who rent vehicles are the target market for this Collision,

Damage Waiver and Supplemental Liability coverage. This target

market is comprised mostly of frequent travelers. This coverage is

often offered at time of rental, which makes this customer easily

approachable when the need for this insurance is top of mind.

Collision, DamageWaiver and Supplemental LiabilityCollision, Damage Waiver and Supplemental Liability coveragecan protect your customers in the event an auto accident occursinvolving a vehicle that was rented with a payment card. Thepayment card must be used to pay for 100% of the vehicle rental fee.
